Haven Bridge helps teen orphans who have been alienated by society overcome the most severe disadvantages – problems like abuse, poverty, discrimination and homelessness.
Through programs providing continued education, financial assistance and hands-on guidance, we create opportunities for deserving young people to become contributing members of society.
Our Mission
Haven Bridge was established to provide children
with the capacity to safely transition from the orphanage
and survive a life of independence.
Our Vision
We believe that the lives of all orphans should be free from poverty, abuse, and discrimination; that all young people should have the support and opportunities they need to reach their full potential; and that no child should be treated as disposable, unworthy of society’s attention.
Our programs in Ukraine are being developed to serve as models that can be replicated throughout Eastern Europe and other countries where teen orphans are neglected, vulnerable and at risk. Ultimately, we hope that similar programs can be provided to orphans throughout the world – so that developed countries no longer let these children fall by the wayside.
Our History
Our founders initially volunteered on a trip to a remote orphanage in southern Ukraine. Intending to support the volunteer efforts of a meaningful non-profit, they had no idea it would alter the course of their lives. Read more ...
